বাংলাদেশ ন্যাশনাল হেলথ্ একাউন্টস (বিএনএইচএ)
National Health Accounts (NHA) is a tried and tested tool for summarizing, describing, and analyzing the financing of national health systems. NHA is a methodology for measuring total national health expenditures, typically on an annual basis. It includes both public and private sector health spending, and it describes health expenditures in terms of where they come from, how they are organized among the financing institutions in national health systems, and how they are used, according to a set of policy-relevant classifications.
BNHA produced in compatible with standard definitions, boundaries, and classifications as outlined in the System of Health Accounts (SHA) framework defined by OECD which includes a three dimensional International Classification of Health Accounts (ICHA) system that has three axes: financing agents (ICHA-HF), functions (ICHA-HC) and service providers (ICHA-HP). Three matrices cross-tabulate health expenditures by HFXHP, HFXHC and HPXHC to form the core tables of NHA.
